How to Automate a Database Release
First segment in a series on how to automate a database. This first article covers what is automation and the benefits it will bring your organization.

Do You Have a User Group?
If so, we'd like to talk with you.  We have a new user group system on SSWUG that will be all sorts of fun - but we need some testers.  Please contact me (swynk@sswug.org) and let me know if you're interested in getting early access to the user group system.  Please let me know where you're located and the name/url/etc. of your user group.

Do You Use Social Sites for Professional Purposes?
(Tired of hearing about "social media" yet?)  I'm curious to hear how you're using sites and services - Facebook, Twitter, etc. - in your professional life.

Used to be there was a line between the services - use LinkedIn for professional networking, Facebook for personal stuff and Twitter was somewhere in the middle depending on who you are and what you're doing.

I think that's changing, but I'm not sure.  Do you use Facebook for work help and research yet?  Do you use Facebook, period?  We're considering new ways to get the information you need out to you - and have some things in the work on the different services, but I really wanted to get your feedback.

Could you drop me a note, as you're winding down for the holiday weekend, and let me know your thoughts?  Email me here if you have a minute.
