(Mark Callaghan) MongoDB, TokuMX and MySQL use log files with high-value data. For MongoDB this is the journal that uses direct IO. For MySQL this is the binlog, relay log and InnoDB redo log, all use buffered IO by default, the InnoDB redo log uses 512 bytes as the "page size" and the replication logs have no notion of page size.
