Understanding Dispose and Finalize in C#

The Garbage Collector in Microsoft .NET manages memory by cleaning up managed objects. It doesn't however cleanup the unmanaged resources used in your application's code. You have to do it manually by implementing the Dispose and Finalize patterns in your code. This article takes a look what Dispose and Finalize methods are and when we should chose one over the other.
