Change The Language Displayed For Captions Using A Single Reporting Services Report Definition


 Article Abstract:

(Ben Taylor) As the popularity of Reporting Services grows for enterprise reporting, the need to accommodate multiple languages is increasing. Not only is currency data and the associated symbol an issue, but the actual text for the captions themselves must also change based on the users preferences. This article demonstrates one method to apply any language to a single report definition, dynamically changing the text to fit the language of the current user, through the use of a second data source.
