Displaying Reports Builder 10g Paper Reports Using Forms Builder 10g

(John Palinski) For years Oracle developers have called Reports Builder reports from a Forms Builder form. One of the primary modes of report display was the Live Previewer. Since the Live Previewer is a client/server application and Oracle 9i/10g are web applications, with the release of Forms Builder 9i/10g developers have lost the ability to display results in the Live Previewer. This article describes how to call a Reports Builder report and display it as a PDF document within the Web browser. Displaying the report in PDF in a Web Browser is an excellent replacement for the Live Previewer.
