File Extraction and Compile Utilities


 Article Abstract:

(Bill Theiss) This paper describes a two-step methodology (using SQL Server 2000 and Microsoft Visual SourceSafe) to semi-automate the build process through these stages of the development life cycle. Step 1 involves using a customized software utility (FreeWare) to extract files from SourceSafe to the file system. Step 2 uses a stored procedure to compile these files to the database.

Hi,
When i tried to download the vsget.exe file i got a error message saying unable to open the internet site. Is there a way i can download the file.
