Finding the SQL Server Agent ErrorLog

 Article Abstract:

(Andrew Novick) The theme this month is logging messages so that they get to the proper human. In the last issue I discussed the SQL Server ErrorLog and showed a stored procedure, dba_ErrorLog_Search that can be used to search the current log. It turns out that SQL Server Agent also has an error log and it's the subject of this article.
