 Article Abstract:

ASP.NET 2.0 provides an extensible framework that actually is a huge leap over its earlier counterpart and provides a whole lot of new and exciting features that are targeted at increasing the robustness, scalability and security of web applications and promote reduction of code redundancy. This article presents the newly added features of ASP.NET 2.0, commonly known as ASP.NET Whidbey. We would be using the terms ASP.NET Whidbey and ASP.NET 2.0 interchangeably.
